As of 1954 the 500cc OHV Jawa Model 15/02 got a new engine, the worm wheels for driving the camshaft were replaced by conical sprockets. Now the push rod guide could be placed in the middle of the cylinder. This special serie of 500cc OHV four stroke Jawa's started in 1950 tot 1952 with a very small production of model 15/00.

This Jawa has identical numbers for frame and engine and is in a very beautiful condition, roadworthy. Being sold as part of a Jawa collection (see picture 14).
