Jawa is a very rare four stroke 500cc ohv push rod model from the
first production serie, the 00-model, recognisable by the push-rod
guide situated just behind the middle of the cylinder and drives
the camshaft by worm wheels. Only few of this first 00-model are
known. (The real production in numbers starts with model 15/01,
followed by model
15/02). This Jawa is in showroom condition.
The
Jawa 15/00 with identical numbers for frame and engine was restored
in Tsjechië to showroom condition by a former Jawa constructor
and is technically in good condition, 265 km after restoration,
and is being sold from a collection (see picture 14).
