The
first motorcycle the BMW factory in West-Germany produced after
the war was the BMW R24. Based upon the pre war R23, so a 250cc
hard tail model, but with a 4 speed gearbox production startet in
1948. It would become the last BMW with a hard tail. In 1950 it
was succeded by the R25 who had rear suspension and the production
of the R24 stopped, becoming a rare motorcycle.
This
BMW R24 is roadworthy, in nice and good condition, new battery.
Same numbers for frame and engine. With dutch license and export
documents when being sold abroad.
